I am a native of Chicago and a wife, mother, GodMother and a grandmother.
I received my ministerial license from Pastor Emeritus Stephen J. Thurston, Sr., of New Covenant MB Church, Chicago, Illinois now known as The Cov Chicago in 2014. and in 2023 received my commission from the Federation of Christian Ministries. However, my involvement in the Christian church began at an early age as the daughter of a Baptist minister, the late Reverend Floyd Moore. I am the founder of the 501c3 organization Naomi's Daughters, Inc. which provides support to justice-involved women and their children.
I earned several advanced degrees including in 2004 a law degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago Law School formerly known as John Marshall Law School and a Master of Arts Degree in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship from Moody Theological Seminary. I hold certifications and trained in the following: Mental Health First Aid, Trauma Informed Ministry and Clinical Pastoral Education Training as a Chaplain. She has been a licensed attorney in Illinois for over 19 years. My current legal experience is in the are of regulatory law, Public Health and Privacy Law.
As a former teenage mother and a High School graduate with a 1.6 GPA, I live by the theme of "But God" and Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. My passions are evangelism, issues impacting women, and social justice.
